Not to mention, if given chocolate over time, the theobromine in it builds
up and slowly kills them.  It does the same with cats.

Raisins and onions are death sentences for dogs, generally.  They cause
almost immediate internal hemorrhaging.

We use to have a Siberian Huskey that at one time while we had her, ate 
rat poison, chocolate (she really like the dark kind), plaster of paris 
and a Venus fly trap and lived.

She got stolen from our yard in Huntsville 3 and a half years ago.

Glad Snowball is better. Chocolate is not good for them.
