Thanks Gaston I really appreciate it. I will be there at Fighter practice
and armor work shop this week. I was on call all this week so I was very
busy. I took a real close look at my shield and it has several severe cracks
that I don't know if it will be possible to fix. So I will be in the market
for getting another shield blank as soon as possible. I will see at PIP in
Tuesday.

Several seconds after I hit Send, I realized that someone might take
seriously my teasing of Laszlo. I have no idea whether there's any
loaner clothing for infants, much less whether it's bespoke (so to
speak).

Greetings!
I would like to get together with all those that have said they would be
willing to be targets for the Archery competition at our event this month.
It would be a short meeting with me going over quickly what all is expected
of the targets. I would like to meet at next Tuesday's PIP, around
7:30...that way everyone can get to fighting as fast as possible. ;)

I'm back in town, and ready to bang some metal tonight
from 7 to 10pm. I promised my wife I'd shut things
down promptly this evening, so please don't be
offended when I start nudging you out the door.
Thanks to Master Iolo and Sir Lyonel I have more
stumps than I can probably use, and what I think may
become an outstanding stake plate/anvil combo. Thanks
to Samantha and Aedon for their stump offers. I think
Uther is still in the market for one.
Aedon- I formed that thumb piece for you but it
could use some griding and some holes for attaching it
to your glove before we heat treat it.
Barnet- If you need a break from making gauntlets,
how about pounding out some pauldrons?

After a nightmare wait of over a month, my quilt has finally been released
from customs to arrive in Florence the day before the exhibit is set up!!
They haven't even opened the box so I hope when they get it out to put it on
the wall tomorrow it will be intact and unstained. Shipping your art to
another country is not for the faint-hearted.
They will be sending me a CD with pictures of all the items exhibited when
the show is over (end of October). Who knows how long it will take the
quilt to return and what I'll be charged to take it home!
If the exhibit is put on line at all, I'll provide a link.
