Having spent some time walking in areas occupied by the four-footed in 
my youth, I feel compelled to ask. . .

How well-disciplined are the horses, when it comes to the products of 
their digestive processes?  (Those little under-tail baggies they wear 
in mundane parades aren't period, are they?)
