with the feast gear? I have been on Ebay and have seen some lovely sets,
but I don't want the purchase a set that is too extreme or out of period.
What are the common metals, stones, or woods used in feast gear?

Without knowing a time, place and social role this question is very
difficult to answer with any accuracy, just like many other questions about
clothing, armour, social customs or physical culture. Who is Rahil, where
is she from, where is she living and what year is it?

On the other hand, sometimes folks like to figure out what they like first
and then set their personna to go with it. I don't know anyone who changed
their personna to match their favorite eating utensils, but people have been
known to chose or change a personna to match a favoured style of combat,
armour, dance, music, clothing, artwork, calligraphy and so forth.

Others simply pick and choose clothing, armour, feast gear, etc. from a
variety of times and places, taking what they like from each. It's another
perfectly valid way to play the game but it makes it hard for anyone to give
you advice because we don't know what you might like.

There just isn't any generic medieval feast gear (or clothing, etc.)
suitable to over 1000 years of history across an entire continent of diverse
cultures. I can help with 6th or 16th century British information, or I can
help you research your own chosen time and place. Meanwhile it is hard to
go wrong with a simple wood or ceramic bowl and plate, a metal spoon and a
sharp knife just to get started.
