Clayways <http://www.clayways.com/> will fire things sometimes, if
their kilns aren't too busy. They don't do any firings for anyone
other than their students in the summer, though, and opportunities are
limited the rest of the year.

Feats of Clay, at 4630 Burnet Road (a block and a half north of 45th)
will fire your stuff for a penny a cubic inch. I found their customer
service excellent, and the owner a willing and knowledgeable source of
info. Their phone number is 453-2111.
