The Five Rivers Chapmanry <http://www.5rivers.org/> is getting out of
the historical pattern market, and has put their existing stock on sale
at a 40% reduction. I know I can't be the only bargain-hunter in the
Barony, so I thought I'd share.
Their SCA-era stuff includes patterns from:
Alter Years (various Renaissance and Elizabethan pieces) now US$ 9.71 -
12.77 each,
Rocking Horse Farm (medieval shirt and shift), now US$ 7.18,
D.L. Designs (Tudor flat cap), now US$ 6.92,
Manua-Maker (Renaissance petticoats), now US$ 1.83,
Period Patterns (various Tudor, German Tudor, Renaissance, and
Elizabethan pieces), now US$ 22.88 each,
Costume Connection ("Spanish Infanta Margherita" outfit), now US$ 7.98,
and
Reconstructing History (various 16th century pieces--Irish, Polish,
Landsknecht, German, and Elizabethan), now US$ 9.98 - 26.34 each.
They also carry patterns for 17th-, 18th-, 19th-, and 20th-century
clothing and modern "ethnic" costumes, which are on sale as well.
The business is based in Canada; shipping to Ansteorra is about US$
9.00 for a pound or less, and US$12.50 for anything over one but under
four and a half pounds.
