I have received this from Tacy Infante who says she has found us through the
staff from Castleton. If interested please let me know so that I may give
them a headcount. Remember April 8th is Easter Sunday.

Thanks for getting in touch with me regarding this event. We would like to
have some of you join us on Sunday, April 8th, for the Renaissance Faire
Day. Ideally we need folks strolling in costume to add to the flavor of this
event. Really anything that you can help with any special activities like
jousting, sword fighting or even if you have someone who can paint faces for
the kids in costume. Pretty much anything that will create a mini
Renaissance Festival atmosphere. Plus, you all will be able to see the play
on Sunday as well.
The event is being held at Richard Garriott's place and they are performing
the play at The Circle and the Renaissance Faire will be in the Village.
7400 Cold Water Canyon Drive, Austin
I do understand the task of asking people to donate their time on Easter
Sunday, but I do appreciate you help on this. I am attaching the press
release that will tell you about the weekend. For Sunday the Festival begins
at 11 am and end at 2 pm and the play As You Like It will begin. Any one who
can come to help will be more than welcome to also attend the performance as
well. This event is open to the public if they bought tickets.
Please let me know if you have any other questions and what kind of response
you get for our event. Thanks so much!

AUSTIN—The award-winning Austin Shakespeare Festival (ASF) is thrilled to
announce its Easter Revel. The revel weekend (Elizabethan for "gala") will
include a
variety of authentic renaissance activities and food and drink from Austin's
finest
restaurants and merchants. Most notably, the festival will include
performances of
ASF's acclaimed production of "As You Like It" in the Curtain Theatre, a
replica of
the original Globe Theatre built by Richard Garriott that is nestled in the
hills of
Garriott's West Austin estate. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to
see the
works of Shakespeare just as Shakespeare and his Elizabethan audiences would
have experienced it!
The three-day gala, to be held Friday, April 6 – Sunday, April 8, will
consist of
multiple activities for every age and interest including sword fighting
demonstrations,
face painting and an Easter egg hunt. On Saturday, April 7, the ASF will
host a silent
auction showcasing one-of-a-kind items. Included in this auction will be a
signed
lithograph, donated by Louise Hirschfield (wife of the late Al Hirschfield),
featuring
Olivier, Gielgud and other great Shakespearean actors in some of their
greatest
roles; and an original painting by noted artist Sandra Langston based on the
ASF's
production of "As You Like It," *which was named one of the top ten theatre*
