[Bryn-gwlad] What we learned about painting honor shields

Mainly, that it takes longer than you think!

Robert, Martel, and I worked on honor shields this weekend. Starting from a cut and primed blank, you can count on about four hours, if your device is anything more complicated than, say, a bar or cross. Definitely not a do-it-Saturday-morning-before-court project...

If weather permits, I'll bring blanks, paints, brushes, etc. to PiP tomorrow. If PiP gets rained out again (as looks likely), anyone interested in doing a painting workshop in the Grace garage instead? (We're located near MoPac/Spicewood Springs)
