But seriously folks....
 
I am of the opinion that since gate is the first thing that our guests
see when entering the Barony, I strive to create a experience that they
will rememeber in a positive sense.  Ambiance is important and sets the
tone for the event.  Since we are involved in the craziness called the
SCA, I hope that folks are able to leave their mundanes lives behind as
they enter our gates.

As Lucia reminded me, I already volunteered to work gate from 5-7 on
Friday. So I'm going to do that.

But I am confused. Are the gate shifts posted by Niklas for the same
list as those posted by Saundra?

After a great deal of soul searching, I have decided to wear clothes
whilst working the gate. Now the only question is should they be
medieval clothes or modern clothes. 

The mind boggles.
