[Bryn-gwlad] championships-equestrian stuff

Personally, I don't see it as any more difficult that hauling a camp
site and all of your gear for an event (and for those who may not
know...I haul 2 horses around at least once every single week).

The trend that the equestrian community is currently enjoying is having
a few high quality horse related events instead of several small, poorly
attended events (i.e. every local group feeling like they need to have
an eq. championship). So, we've (the eq. folks) dropped the number of
events we travel to and concentrate very similarly on what you are
suggesting.

But, to address the desire of local groups to figure out how to identify
their own local eq. champion?...that's yet to be determined.

Btw, Bryn Gwlad is considered one of those high quality eq. events.

You know, it's so hard to haul those horses around, wouldn't it be great
if the equestrians got together and had a few events a year where
multiple groups could choose thier equestrian champions? We could put
them together and have an Ansteorran Equestrian War company<G> Or we
could have regional Equestrian Champions instead of local ones...the
Southern Regional Equestrian Champion would represent all the groups of
the South...
just some thoughts...
