[Bryn-gwlad] SCA reality v. virtual RPG (was Championships)

I don't care how good an online rpg might be, you can't get quality hugs.
And then there's the "No [joke], there I was" stories. Feats that move the
heart and imbed themselves in collective memory to become stories to tell
others are never, in my experience, found online. The experience of
watching one mighty fighter holding a bridge during a battle does not get
immortalized when happening in a virtual world.

Case in point....why pack up all your SCA stuff and go to an event for a
full weekend when you can role-play *much more effectively* with your
friends in a online environment in the comfort of your own home?

Something to consider moving forward.
