I wish I had been around for those days where the events were 2.5 days. Guess that is why Stepps and Gothic are my favorite events. Maybe we need to spread out the popular events and give people a reason to stay.

Event Stewards across the Kingdom are not even *trying* to keep folks at

are now, primarily, a one day/day trippable affair.

Why? I've heard a variety of answers. But one thing is for sure, we
will continue down this path as the new generation coming into the SCA
sees that this is the status quo...unless we do something about it.

I would counsel to revert back to our younger years...hold the events on
Sat. *and* Sunday. Give folks a reason to stay and enjoy the event.
