The full camping weekends still happen, but (depending on the event) 
I think fewer people camp these days. (And in the spirit of full 
disclosure, I'm as guilty of that as anyone. At a Bryn Gwlad event, 
for example, given a choice of spending two hours in camp setup and 
teardown vs. half an hour to drive home and sleep in my own bed, I 
tend to choose the latter.)
