[Bryn-gwlad] Quick & (mostly) Cheap Armor...

I will probably see what I can rustle up or make here with the help that's
been offered, then see what else I will still need after armouring next
Thursday and purchase whatever I'll still need (as in, can't be borrowed or
made in time) then.
Eule - the fact that I figure I'll end up buying something better down the
road is a good part of the reason I don't want to spend a whole lot of money
on it now. I don't know enough about how or what I'll be fighting with to
spend more money than I really have to right now, and I really can't tell if
something is constructed well or not (hence the exchange with Martel on
helms - and Martel, for your peace of mind, I would probably end up going
with a different helm than the A-B one now that I know the reasoning behind
it). If I spend a lot of money on armor now, that would mean that I wouldn't
have it to spend once I figure out what I want (the other part of the reason
is that if I spent a lot now, it would also mean I'd probably be eating rice
and beans for the next month...nothing against rice and beans, but I've done
that before and it gets old after the first few days). The helm that I think
I'll eventually want is $340, but that's not going to happen any time soon.
Thanks for all the help and the spiffy links, they've been bookmarked so
that whatever I do end up purchasing, I have them easily at hand.
Many thanks,
Alasa
