[Bryn-gwlad] Middle Eastern Dance Guild and Big and/or Fancy Events

Gothic is not a huge event, but it is decent size. The people there are
fairly easy going. This is the event that normally has the tacky garb
contest (a few seamstresses do not take credit for their entries), much
drumming, and has held such tourneys as the one where unconventional weapons
were required - there were invisible weapons, thumb-wrestling, etc. Last
year in the pouring rain, there was still drumming and dancing under the
tents. If you show up in something that looks remotely medieval, odds are
you'll be fine and we can probably scrounge up whatever would be needed,
including rides. I know there's a decent number of us going...
