[Bryn-gwlad] College Status Report

My first "official" experience with the SCA was Folks walking in armor
to a Demo at A Game/Comic Convention we put on in one of the buildings
at

South West Texas.

 

I still vividly recall a huge guy (whom I knew) in armor, with a giant 2
handed axe over his shoulder.

 

(He still plays in Dallas)

 

Not sure why I felt compelled to share that, but I did :-)

My initial exposure to the SCA occurred at NMSU, where I would walk past
guys beating the snot out of eachother with big sticks in the center of
campus on Wednesday evenings.
