[Bryn-gwlad] The Heat has Returned with a Vengence

Greetings Bryn Gwlad!
  Our foe, the summer heat, has relentlessly stepped up the attack against the wellness of the Populace.  With temperatures forecast for 100-101 degrees tomorrow at PiP, proper hydration is *essential*.

 Adding both heat index and radiant heat from the tennis court cement pad - temperatures between 112 to 120 degrees are possible (remember, this is what your body reacts to) and this does NOT include the insulative effect of a fighter's armor.
 So, as a courtesy to yourself, your family, your friends, and both the Marshallate and Chirurgeons (who really detest filling out reports), please hydrate yourself before, during and after PiP tomorrow.

  Some of you are saying "But, I'm not a fighter!" - then you can expect your body to react to temperatures from 107-110 degrees (heat index only), so hydration is equally important for you too!  And parents - please encourage your children to stay hydrated!

  Remember folks - YOU are responsible for providing enough liquids for you and your family.  While the Barony tries to have water available, please do not become dependant on it.  If the person or persons who bring the water cannot make to that particular week's PiP, then you are out of luck (and water).

  So, drink plenty of non-caffeinated, non-alcholic, low sugar liquids and stay well!
