Friday December 7th to Sunday December 9th

Schedule (Keeping SCA time in mind):
Friday 5pm - Site Opens
Saturday (noon) - Mini Heavy Tournament with prize.
Saturday (3pm ) - Mini Rapier Tournament with prize.
Saturday 2:00pm to 4:00pm - Classes - nalbinding and kumihimo
Saturday 4:30pm archery?
Saturday 3:00pm to 6:00pm - Land Court and Taxes
Saturday 6:30pm - Potluck Dinner
Saturday 7:30pm - Caroling Procession - Court
Saturday 8:00pm - Bear Swap
Sunday 12:00pm or when RATBARF comes down - Site closes

This is not a time for your finest; for your hoops and expensive jewelry. 
This is a time for friends, family and fun. The site is very primitive and 
does not have electricity or running water, is not handicapped accessible, and 
we ask that you take everything out that you took in. Dogs are allowed on 
site, but must remain on a leash at all times, and must be cleaned up after. 
Camping will be available both Friday and Saturday night.

For the Potluck dinner we ask that you bring your own table and chairs, and 
a dish that does not need to be heated, or can be heated via open flame, and 
serving utensils for your dish. 

SCA names beginning with:
A-G please bring an appetizer
H-L please bring a main course
M-Q please bring a side dish
R-Z please bring a dessert

BYOB.

The Bear Swap will be an open gift exchange with stealing and swapping gifts 
with each turn. We ask that the gifts be between $5 and $10, with the lower 
age limit at 16 and Father Christmas will make an appearance for the other 
youngsters. (please see Father Christmas post for instructions).

Yule will be held at 1665 Sand Branch Road Kyote, TX between Poteet & 
Devine, however mapquest does not recognize this location.

For Mapquest Directions:
Search from your location to 1515 Sand Branch Road 
Continue on the dirt road to the next entrance past 1515, there should be a 
sign that reads "1665 Sand Branch" and an SCA sign

>From San Antonio:
Drive down I35 to Devine, where you take 173 east (for 10 miles) until Kyote 
where you turn left (north) onto 2504(Just past Old Country Fishing Hole 
store). Then after 2.8 miles turn left (west) on Sand Branch, which is easy to 
miss. Sand Branch is unpaved so slow driving is best. When you see our 
neighbor's mail box (1515) on the right start looking for the sign and entrance into 
our property (at top of rise about 300 yards on left).

Drive across field to where you'll see an orange car and a red truck parked 
near the fence. The field is sand so it's like driving on the beach. In two 
wheel drive vehicles it gets a little slippery, but you shouldn't get stuck as 
the sand is hard packed under the first little layer of loose sand. An 18 
wheeler, the truck and Missy's car have driven there with no problems, just 
remember that sand drives a little different. When you arrive we ask that you 
park near the fence on the drive in where you see the car and truck parked, and 
if you could park like that it would be appreciated, and means that it 
should prevent too much driving on the sand.
