I send Pasha a link to www.austinhomesearch.com , which will help her get a 
feel for price ranges in the different areas. We live pretty near you, 
Dan'l, and yes, the houses are pricey (think 250K-300K and up)  ... however, 
the schools are outstanding--the two elementary schools in this area, Hill 
and Doss, are both Blue Ribbon schools, and Murchison Jr. High and Anderson 
High School are also highly rated. There are townhomes in the area, too, 
which are less expensive and in many cases well-constructed (not like 
made-over apartments).
