[Bryn-gwlad] A Cool Yule!

Twas a cool Yule at the port this year!
We had good weather and much merry making!

Many thanks to our steward Lady Damiana 
and to everyone who helped create such an 
enjoyable gathering together!    

I held an evening court to honor a number 
of people and to also conduct some business
on the behalf of the Crown.  Lord Navarre
received an Award of Arms and Lady Sorcha
received a Sable Thistle for Dancing!
VIVAT!

Tom the Sailor was recognized as being the most
insulting fighter of the day.  A dishonorable 
mention was also given to Arthur the Dented.  
Lord Ceallach was admirably charged for brawling, 
and Lady Amata was honored for her entertaining
Christmas war song!  We praised the good work 
of the Bryn Gwlad Scribes Guild with a gift  
and we honored 3 children for their baking skills.
My personal thanks to Lady Catalina for serving as 
the court herald and to Lady Rhiannon as entourage.

Congratulations also to Sophie who became
the newest member of the Baronial Guard!  

There was much music and gift-giving in the hall
as well as dancing, playing and good will to all.  
What a great way to celebrate the season!
