I'm sure others have heard this but I thought I'd post it.

Pater Jackson and Fran Walsh have agreed to be the Executive Producers
for 
the new Hobbit movie and it's sequel.  The movie will begin filming in 
20098 and be released 2010.  The sequel will incorporate material from
the 
Silmarillion/Unfinished Tales.
