Bardic Theme for Candlemas is as follows:
   
  Vikings--Must sing off-color songs off-key while drinking mass quantities of alcoholic beverages, therefore rendering all songs incomprehensible.  Musical instruments used as emergency beer mugs.
   
  Saxons--Singing hasn't been invented yet.  Speaking in complete sentences just coming into vogue.  Musical instruments used as rudimentary back-scratchers.
