[Bryn-gwlad] couple of question

Most of Round Rock is in Williamson County...and yes, the taxes in
Williamson Co. are much less than in Travis Co.

I have to chuckle to myself whenever I'm driving north on I-35 and see
the entrance to the Joy Men's Club and about 50 feet further north is
the Williamson County line. ;-)

Hi...

We went thru this all back about 3 years ago. We picked the Cedar
Park/Leander/Liberty Hill area to live in for several reasons....

We currently are in Cedar Park in the 183/1431 area.

1. Your in Williamson County, taxes are lower, the local law folks take
a very dim view of crime and we don't have the traffic congestion that
Austin proper and some of Travis county has.

2. If you are looking at schools (we were not, ours are 25 and 26) but
the Leander ISD and the Liberty Hill ISD are very good.

3. Houses up here have not gone out of sight, yet. We paid 110,000 for a
4 bedroom, 2 bath , 1300sq feet. Not bad for the Austin area.

4. There's lots of the Barony living up in the Northernlands.

I would not do Round Rock. Pflugerville might be ok, but I think that is
in Travis county. You might also look at Georgetown, Taylor area.

Where is your office to be?

Do you plan to rent or buy or rent and look around to buy later?

If we can help, let us know. I moved here about 4 years ago to goto work
for the state and my lady just recently got a job with the state also.

We moved here from Huntsville, Texas and the Barony of Raven's Fort.
