[Bryn-gwlad] couple of question

I just finished digging about 180 post holes in solid limestone.  That's
why I hired a fellow with a hydraulic rock bit to drill them.  Takes
about 2 hours to do each one by hand vs. all the holes in 2 hours with a
Belton bit.
 
The correct tools are your friend! ;-)

Heh, right.  Round Rock is just as bad.  When I decided to build my
fence, I tried to do it with a manual post hole digger.  That was an
exercise in futility.  When they poured the foundation for my house,
they took all the boulders they found and threw them in to the back yard
and covered them with topsoil.  Of course, where I needed to put the
posts are where the boulders were!

I have been trying to convince my wife that we should just "plant" rocks

and maybe a cactus or 2 then cutting grass is not so much a problem.
