[Bryn-gwlad] Courtly Love at Candlemas

Greetings All,

I have begun packing my carriage and look forward to arriving 
at the Candlemas Hall on Saturday morning.   I hope to greet
many of you at this great celebration.    

As you probably know, we will be having several competitions
as well as classes at this event.   I would very much like to see
all of our rapier fighters on the field of honor - regardless of 
your experience!   I would also like to see as many artisans
as possible - even if you are only displaying your work.  

Those competing in bardic competition should please sign 
a roster when they arrive.   Bards are asked to present
an original work and a period piece.  Documentation is 
encouraged, but not requried.     There will also be a 
prize for the most pleasing performance on Courtly Love.  

In addition to the Bardic competition, there will be all-day competition of 
Courtly Love throughout the day to honor the best male, best female and 
best couple—who most impress Eleanor of Acquitane and her ladies 
with their display and/or performance of courtly love during the day. 

A delicious feast is planned and also a couple of courts.
