For those that remember Shandi aka Kierean of the Horses and Jamie aka 
"Jaime of
Fairfield"

yep it's me.....I've been on the BG list all along I just lurk. It makes me 
feel
like I'm still part of the SCA family I made there in Austin. Jamie and I 
are in
the middle of nowhere called Huffman Texas.. I went to one event here in the
Houston area...needless to say it just didn't feel right. I never felt more 
like
a newbie....it just ruined the SCA for me. The thing about BG is that even 
when
I was a newbie,,,,,,it took awhile for me to feel like I fit in but still 
the
barony of BG works hard to make their new people feel welcome even months 
after
joining.
Jamie is still here :) we have two horses now and 6 dogs. I am still a vet 
tech
and I am still doing my art wok on the side. His family all live around us, 
his
mom behind us, one of his sisters one street over and the other sister a few
streets over.
I follow the list....just don't play anymore...
as a matter of fact if anyone is ever in the area give us a hollar I have a 
box
of garb and misc that I'd love BG to have.
Between the horses,dogs and work we keep pretty busy around here.
