[Bryn-gwlad] Armour Thursday

We'll be armouring again this Thursday in my garage in
south west Austin from 7pm to 10pm.  Send me an email
if you need the address.

  Note- We're changing the way we're structuring
things so we WON'T be supplying dinner.  A lot of
folks eat beforehand anyway, and it eats into the
metal pounding time.

  We still have some spaulders to finish up.  One cop
needs to be redished and refired due to warping.  I
know Ty's interested in some knee cops.  So it's
likely we'll be doing a fair amount of pounding. 
Please bring ear, eye and hand protection if you have
it.  Even disposable ear plugs work OK.

  When the spaulders and the new leg harness are out
of the way the next big group project is going to be
late 14th century arms.  I'm toying with the arms seen
on the Black Prince's tomb, and a couple different
designs from Churburg and the Met.  My hope is to make
something spiffier, more durable and lighter than the
arms I've been fighting in for the past dozen years or
so.  They'll take a while to put together, and we'll
probably have to order more spring steel and buckles
if a lot of folks are interested, so let me know.
