I love that teflon tape! I use that on my shower head too to keep it from 
dripping and for my water jug....it is the duct tape of the plumbing world 
in my opinion : )

Make sure you have towels and such when you remove hoses...and you need 
those little hose clamping thingies....

I would suggest getting a roll of teflon tape, which is non-sticky white
stuff you can get in the plumbing dept. at Home Despot. Wrap it around
the threads of your water connection before screwing on the hose; it
makes a better seal and reduces the chance of leaks greatly.
