Eule, you are mostly correct. Mailing lists are not official. As the list
owner, I am not an officer of the corporation, and there is no reason to
confuse people by having another domainname to associate mailing lists with.

The exception is a couple announcement only lists hosted by the corporation
that are a means to expedite official communications in addition to the
normal printed methods.

We have previously had bryn-gwlad.org and it was not worth the extra
headache. As well, before you go buying it, make sure that you have
permission of the SCA since Bryn Gwlad is a named owned by the corporation.

Now regarding the different mailing lists being hosted on Yahoo, there is
absolutely no reason they can't be moved over to the Ansteorra server. Just
send email to serveradmin at ansteorra.org and they will walk you through the
process.
