As well, you have taken action on behalf of the corporation and committed
the group to long-term reoccurring expenses that haven't been officially
discussed nor approved by the financial committee. While you may have chosen
to donate the costs this first time, you may or may not live here, play in
the SCA or feel this is a worth while effort when the renewal comes up.

As an FYI, the efforts I have done previously with Ansteorra.org and
Bryn-Gwlad.org (which we decided to let lapse from lack of use despite the
best intentions such as yours) were all done with official proposals and
approval by the group and/or financial committee when funds commitment were
made even if I was donating the costs. This was done in case I should no
longer donate the funds for any reason, so the corporation was willing to
incur the costs should it become part of the business requirements.

This disappoints me that you did this despite the council you were getting
on the mailing list.

That is fine, but what you are doing is making decisions for the
entire group without asking the group if this is what they want to do.
 The fact you want to help is good....but you should not act for all
unless you ask folks if they want you to do so.
