Actually if you go to Lowe's or Home Depot you can get a not skid pad for
carpets. We have one under our futon to keep the mattress from sliding
around on the frame. They are relative cheap and you only need a small
piece. Our is similar to the type you get to line your vegie bin in your
refrigerator. If you go to Lowe's or Home Depot (and Daniel, I know that's
a scarey concept for you). and ask one of the people who work there about
a no skid pad, I'm sure they will show you.
If you get really anxious about it, I'm happy to do it for you. I was
pretty amazed how a tiny little pad actually can stop things from sliding
around.
Yers in the feathered 'hood,
Clare
