[Bryn-gwlad] bees

My SO who used to be a land surveyor told me that there are a couple of 
varieties of ground bees that are quite aggressive here is Texas. They 
aren't honey bees, whether African or regular European Bees.  I would 
imagine that you ran into them.  And considering the worry people are 
having about honey bees starting to die off - I would think you'd just 
avoid the area and leave them be.  I had a back yard that had a swarm of 
the ground bees and as long as you stayed out of their nesting area they 
left you alone.  They eventually moved on to another area.
