To be precise, we were complimented at the hospital for the "most 
creative use of local materials." Kenrick had his dislocated knee 
splinted and immobilized with a couple of wooden stakes and was 
gaffer-taped to a folding table for an improvised stretcher. When we 
got to the hospital, they unloaded him, table and all, to wheel him inside.
