That reminds me, a few useful buzzwords, that might come in handy for
you.


Hospitaler - Person in charge of helping integrate interested newcomers.

Loaner Gear/ Loaner Armor - armor and weapons the knights marshal or
Rapier marshal have for helping newcomer try out the combat arts without
buying a lot of stuff. (bring your own cup)

Rapier Marshal- Person in charge of safety and authorization in Light
combat.

Knight marshal - Ditto to above but Heavy Combat.

Seneschal - Club president, usually run meetings, makes things go.

Baron - Titular boss of us all, in actuality..... :)


Now hopefully you can drop the right buzzwords to get you to the people
you are interested in meeting first.

Fear not, the Rapier Marshal has weapons and armor available for a new 
fighter to use. Wear long pants, closed-toed shoes, and bring your own 
groin protection, he can probably outfit you with the rest.
