[Bryn-Gwlad] Smalls

[Mr John Carroll]

"Smalls" as a term to define undergarments makes
perfect sense to me as the term small clothes refered
to what was worn under the frock coat (in the
Eighteenth Century) i.e. shirt, waistcoat, and
breeches. Are the two terms related? Is this an actual
documented term or a modern one?
