Greetings Sir Gaston & All,
A good discussion on award recommendations -
and my thanks to those who have already sent me
some recommendations. One of the reasons our barony
is so great is because we are generous with praise.
The Cross Fleury recognizes any martial combat
which includes chivalric, rapier, archery, and
plausibly even equestrian (especially jousting).
Don Maelgwyn has also rightly observed that the
Cross Fleury can recognize diligent efforts in
combat and for service within the local combat
community more than for a particular skill level.
The Guild Leaders recently recommended our
non-armigerous awards be used more to encourage
people for their character and their efforts
in service, the arts, and combat. I agree and
add my own recommendations to those I receive.
