Folks fighting with clubs to the left, and fencers to the right.

 

If you get there early enough, there are lots to munchkins fighting with
nerf swords.

 

3 Super secret decoder ring buzz words

 

Hospitaler - the person in charge of helping new folk feel welcome. Ask
to talk to them when you get there & ask them to introduce you around.

 

Knight Marshal - In charge of heavy (knights) fighting... talk to him to
get questions answered, loaner garb etc.

Rapier Marshal - Ditto, but for fencing.

Hi all... we're thinking of coming out to PiP tonight, and we were
wondering if we need to come dressed in period or if shorts and tees
will suffice.  Also, since my husband is quite new to SCA, I'm wondering
quite how I should tell him what to expect this evening.  Any
enlightenment is welcome!
