Anyone have any good ideas on how to handle or what to make for a pot
luck held in the evening when you will be arriving early in the day?
I'm used to pulling my cooked dish out of the refrigerator, taking it
to the event, such as Yule Revel and using a crock pot there if I
need to warm it up. But it isn't sitting all day. I don't want to
make something which would spoil.
I guess non-refrigerated items might be the way to go, such as
wafers. Wafers and Snow wouldn't work, since the "snow" would spoil.
If all the out-of-town folks take non-refrigerated foods, I hope some
of the locals make meat dishes and such.
