[Bryn-gwlad] I wonder how much it would cost to charter a plane...

I'm not ~that~ into costuming but I think the tours would probably be more
informative than your average tour concerning our time periods plus access
to areas the general tourist public doesn't get. When I was in Florence, the
Eleanor of Toledo and costuming section of the Pitti Palace was under
renovation :( If we can get a group together of about 10 people, we can
probably reduce the cost.
The place I stayed at in Florence was this little B&B that was the in town
villa for a Siennese wine merchant. For $35 a night we had three clean beds
in a room with a bath down the hall that had the original frescos and tile
floors just a couple of blocks from the train station, the main market place
and all the other sites. The Pitti Palace was the furthest at about a 20
minute walk that was so long because I couldn't help but stop and look along
the way. I'm not sure if it is still there but there are other options.
If anyone is interested, let me know. I'm going to start researching it. It
is the perfect excuse to go back to Italy!
