If I don't carpool with someone, I might just try taking the bus.  The #1 
runs from the entrance to my complex south into town.  I can get off as 
close as Congress and 4th, which is a heck of a lot closer than any parking 
I've found down there.  It also means I can drink during the movie and not 
have to drive afterward.

Alamo downtown is on Colorado just north of 4th.  There are also a lot of 
fun pubs on 4th, for those who enjoy such things.

This is going to be one of the last shows for the current downtown location.
I highly recommend carpooling! There is a pay parking lot next door.
Unfortunately, I'm one of those people who can get there but can't tell you
how to get there. I ~think~ it is around 4th street a couple of blocks east
of the park where they hold the farmer's market on Saturday (how's that for
directions!). Around the corner from the Ginger Man?

If we do that, then we will all need designated drivers!

I can get there early to get a place in line and get tickets. I'll be
kid-free that week so I can head over to Book People to waste some time
after work (hurt me!) and still get there in time to get in line.
