[Bryn-gwlad] Fiber Arts College - Saturday June 23

San Antonio (Barony of Bjornsborg) is hosting a Fiber Arts College this Saturday. Unfortunately it conflicts with the regional fighter practice here in Austin, but it's an excellent opportunity to learn about fiber arts at all levels (see class list below).   Teachers from Bryn Gwlad include Mistress Raisya Khorivovna who will be teaching beginning spinning with a handspindle and myself, Amata Amati, who will be teaching trapunto in the style of the Guicciardini quilts. More information can be found at the event website (http://cternus.home.texas.net/FiberArtsHome/).  Classes run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with registration starting at 8 a.m.
