In tradition of the Elizabethan Revels held, I offer the Festival of Aphrodites to celebrate the beauty and virtues of the ladies of Bryn Gwlad being held June 30th at the Wells Branch Community Center (where Land Court was held). I invite you to join us in the revelry, and the laughter and amusement amongst friends. 
 
There are two fun and exciting competitions happening!
 
Battle of the Codpieces - There will be two winners of this amusing event. One will be the Judges Choice, the other, the Populaces.
Who can be the most creative? Most outlandish? We'll see this Saturday! 
 
Taste of Temptation - A food contest using thought of "period aphrodisiacs". Have something that may have not been used in period? Make documentation and make us "believe" it was used. This is a fun and creative contest. Documentation is not required but is desired. The judges will be our very own Baron Thomas, and members of the Baronial Guard. Please make enough in your dish, as we would like to rotate it into the potluck once the contest is over. 
 
There will be dancing hosted by HL Star which will begin with a wonderful piece performed by our very own dance guild 
The Gaming Guild of Bryn Gwlad will be present with their games for all to partake and enjoy in, if you have any games we do invite you to bring them.
 
There is no site fee, though I do ask that you bring a potluck dish to share.
 
The tentative schedule is as follows:
 
11 am - Site opens
11:30 am - Judging of the "Taste of Temptation" begins
12ish - Judging of the "Taste of Temptation" ends
2:30 pm -  Battle of the Codpieces begins
4ish - Dancing begins
All day - Laughter, friends, fun times, good memories, oh and potluck :P
