Greetings All!

Tis another full moon this month!

Whether you're Eliabethan, Roman, or something in between,
everyone is encouraged to please attend the revel today,
in honor of Aphrodite - who is always period, in my opinion!

There is no site fee, however this is a potlock revel
so please bring a dish or two to share with others.
The hall is open from 11am until 8pm, so please attend
whenever you can. Our steward is Lady Isabelica.

The revel will be at the Wells Branch Community Center:
http://www.siervua.com/festival/

Activities include:

A Feast of Feats - A food contest using the thought of
"period aphrodisiacs". Create something that may not have
been used in period? Make documentation and make us "believe"
it was used. Documentation is not required but is desired.

A Battle of Codpieces - There will be two winners:
One will be the Judges' Choice and the Populace's Choice.
Who can be the most creative? Most outlandish?

Dancing will begin with a performance of the Dance Guild.
Gaming is encouraged - please bring games you wish to share.

A gentle schedule includes:

11 am - Site opens
11:30 am - Judging of the "Taste of Temptation" begins
12ish - Judging of the "Taste of Temptation" ends
2:30 pm - Battle of the Codpieces begins
4ish - Dancing begins
All day - Laughter, friendship, good food, and fun!

I hope to see you there!

        Thomas
