Your Excellency,

I must send my apologies.  I had to travel today to
speak with the stone mason who may be working on my
new abode, and spent most of the day on the road.   I
will see you on Tuesday.  Today was the only day
Charles and I could travel together to accomplish
this, as our various schedules do not coincide on a
regular basis.
