[Bryn-gwlad] Found some really cool steel and leather

You know, looking at all these links over the past few days really makes
one think.  For those of us who have been doing reenactment/recreation
for a while; think back to the early days of the SCA and the level of
armour we were doing back then (and I'm talking about the "good" stuff
back then...not carpet armour and freon helms).  Boy!  Have we come a
looooong way!

Something to be very proud of, indeed.

I'd suggest looking at http://www.volny.cz/luciusj/gallery.html for some
great work by Jiri Lucius and at http://armourandcastings.com for some
very nice and affordable helms, buckles, and other metalwork.  For
custom work I recommend working with Max at NorthStarArmoury.com, even
if he isn't Czech.
