[Bryn-gwlad] games

You know, there are some games that just must be period that we still
play and just don't think about.

Like Pick Up Sticks. Simple game.

Now try betting on it. Whole new game!

Documented? I have no idea. Could have been done? Certainly and easily.
It could be like many recipes, just too simple to talk about. If not
demostratably period at least it sure feels that way when you are
playing it in a tavern.

A simple set of wooden and dyed sticks in a small cloth bag would fit
into a game board box or in with other bagged games. The hard part is
you have to come up with your own betting tokens. We could give
suggestions on what to bet on and some simple rules.

Like many fairly tales we think of as children's stories that were
actually for adults, the same may be true of many old games.
