[Bryn-gwlad] documenting gamecloths

I found the same in a book, when I was researching my pachisi set (and yes
the original spelling was pachisi). But who's to say that the crusaders
didn't bring cloth-based games back with them?

I was searching the hist games archives earlier
seeking any clues about documentation of cloth as game
boards. So far I have found one reference asserting
that cloth was not used in Europe but that it was
common in the muslim realms. Unfortunately, the link
provided to document the assertion is no longer
working. If I can avoid work a bit longer I will see
what else I can find.
