[Bryn-gwlad] documenting gamecloths

I don't disagree (I happen to be one fo the people
that make and sell cloth game boards).  I also
remember seeing a description of the Lapps using
reindeer skins as boards.  If memory serves, they
painted and embroidered them.  I haven't refound the
reference yet but I fear this was a little later
timeframe.

Just to stir discussions up, I don't remember seeing
references to people using gameboxes, at least not the
type that are being discussed here and in the
timeframe we are concerned with.  Certainly not the
small basswood type that we can find at the craft
stores.
