[Bryn-gwlad] Overpass Practice will NOT be a SCA Practice

I mean no offense, particularlly to our good seneschal
but "officialness" of a practice means very little to
me, and it disheartens me that such a label would
discourage us in any way from gathering, having fun,
and practicing any of our arts. If I have a few folks
over to make armour, it's not an official event. If
someone gets burned by the forge, or we bug one of my
neighbors with the noise, the SCA isn't involved in
any way. Even at an offical event, if I injure
someone and they decide to sue me, I don't expect the
SCA insurance is going to do me any good.
If we're booking a site using the SCA's name then
sure, being official and not hurting the reputation of
the society is a concern. If we're just a bunch of
folks clubbing each other under a bridge, I see no
reason the SCA has to even be mentioned.
  Respectfully,
  Gaston
