Anyone check if the local law enforcmenet might not be too thrilled about
people hitting each other wiht sticks in a parking garage...or if the garage
belongs to specific organization?

When worked with OAG, security would kick you out if no badge/permits
stickers...

Invoking my intimate familiarity with Austin parking
garages (tow truck thing again) very few of them have
overhear clearances of over 8' and most of them are
7'6". A notable exception would be the garage at the
Department of Health on Lamar just north of 51st
street. They have a garage that is probably 15 feet
high on the first floor, and there are usually no cars
there after 5pm.

As for the Walnut Creek park, that actually sounds
like a good idea to me, and for that matter would
probably be a good spot during clear weather as well,
although it would be a bit farther for the folks down
south. I agree that a bunch of people hitting each
other with sticks is likely to ispire the lovelorn to
look elsewhere. Also if we are looking at this as a
rainy day only location, looking for love in the
bushes probably looses a lot of its appeal when it's
raining.
